1944 in Eloys, France. His body was originally buried in a cemetery in Besancon,
France but was returned home after the war. Funeral services were held at the
Palestine Methodist Church. Bruce had 8 brothers and sisters to survive him,
Martha Lou, Billy Henry, Virginia, Hugh Milton, Robert Boyd, Joe Waymon, Lucy
