Weapons
GI's were issued with a number of weapons; clip fed, belt fed, semi-automatic and full automatic.
The M1 Garand, a clip-fed .30-06 semi-automatic rifle measuring 43.5 inches (110.7 cm), weighing 9.5 pounds, with an effective range of 601 yards, holding eight rounds in an internal magazine fed by a charger clip was the standard issue weapon. The following weapons would be acceptable for our impression:
